Frankly, I vastly prefer XCOM’s “two actions” systems over time units. The less micro-management there is in a game, the better. I’d rather focus on the broad-strokes strategy than try to figure out if I can take one extra step and still shoot. Makes for a much faster-paced game, which is important in a turn-based system.
This thing…it just always confused me. Why is it an MMO, again? With how much it’s trying to ape the gameplay of the Harebrained offerings, you’d think they’d have just gone up to them and ask “hey, you know that single player game you make? How about if you let us make a version with multiplayer, and player-made campaigns?”
You know, essentially “Shadowrun: The Tabletop Game: The Online PC Game”.

This game is NOT made by the same group as Hong kong.
Shadow run return, dragon fall, and hong kong are all made by harebrained schemes.
This game was developed by cliffhanger production, and published by nordic games. They share no common employees.
The only thing they have in common is franchise.
